7. AI INTERACTIONS & DISCLOSURE (NEUROCOMP ASSISTANT)
Our website chat assistant and phone assistant (“NeuroComp”) are powered by ElevenLabs Conversational AI. When you interact with NeuroComp, you are interacting with AI, not a human.
Required Disclosure:
• Conversations may be recorded and shared with ElevenLabs and its third-party large language model providers.
• These communications may be used to provide the service, improve AI performance, train machine learning models, and comply with applicable law.
• You must acknowledge this disclosure before you can access the AI assistant, either via a banner, interstitial message, or verbal notice.
Human Transfer Option:
NeuroComp serves as the first point of contact for calls and website chats. However, if you request to speak with a human, NeuroComp is instructed to transfer the interaction to an ITComp representative through our phone system.
Your Choice:
Use of the AI assistant is optional. If you prefer, you may contact us directly by phone or email instead of using NeuroComp.

15. DEVICE DROP-OFF SERVICE ADDENDUM

This Addendum applies only when you drop off a device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone, or other hardware) at ITComp for diagnostics, service, repair, or evaluation. These terms are in addition to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service outlined above.
15.1 Authorization for Diagnostics & Service
By leaving your device with ITComp, you authorize our technicians to:

Boot, access, and inspect the device’s hardware and software as required

Use diagnostic tools that may temporarily modify device settings to complete the evaluation
No repair work beyond diagnosis or any approved service will be performed without your explicit consent.
15.2 Data Responsibility & Backups
ITComp takes reasonable precautions to safeguard your data; however:

You are solely responsible for maintaining a complete backup of your data before drop-off.

ITComp is not liable for any loss, corruption, or inaccessibility of data occurring during or after diagnostics, repair, or hardware failure.

15.3 Pre-Existing Conditions & Device Stability
Many devices arrive with underlying issues that may worsen during diagnostics. ITComp is not responsible for:

Pre-existing physical or internal damage

Latent or intermittent hardware failures

Issues caused by liquid exposure, drops, heat, age, or prior unauthorized repairs

Device failure that occurs while testing an unstable system
This includes devices that cease functioning entirely during service due to pre-existing conditions.
15.4 Passwords, Passcodes & Access
To complete diagnostics:

You may be required to provide login credentials or temporarily disable security locks.

Failure to provide necessary access may limit the accuracy or completeness of the diagnostic process.

ITComp will not remove, bypass, or hack security locks, activation locks, or third-party account protections.
15.5 Limited Warranty on Work

Diagnostic fees are non-refundable.

Warranty applies only to the specific parts replaced or service performed by ITComp.

Warranty does not cover new or unrelated issues, software problems, virus infections, or damage occurring after the device is picked up.
15.6 Abandoned Devices
To maintain secure storage:

Devices not retrieved within 30 days of notification of service completion are considered abandoned.

ITComp may dispose of, recycle, or repurpose abandoned devices at its discretion.

Devices will not be released until all outstanding balances are paid in full.
15.7 Software Licensing Compliance
By dropping off your device, you confirm that all installed software is properly licensed.
ITComp does not install, activate, or support unlicensed or pirated software under any circumstances.
15.8 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

ITComp’s liability relating to device drop-off services is limited to the amount paid for diagnostics or repair services, not the replacement value of the device.

ITComp is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from service activities, diagnostics, or hardware failure.

During diagnostics:
